Features
The K Lock Standards areprovided in 9 basic sizes with cup joints welded at 500mm intervals. Each cup joint permits upto four horizontals to be fixed to the vertical member with one simple movement, giving an extermely rigid joint which impart additional strength to the system. The top cups are made of high grade steel casting to allow the rigors of daily use. The bottom cups are high grade pressed steel. Other sizes availble upon request.

This unit has been carefully designed to provide a safe mid-bay support Scaffold Boards. The fabricated jaw sections at each end are turned downwards to prevent dislocations. One end is provided with integral locking device to prevent movement along the ledger during use.

This component enables the early striking of the system allowing the Decking & the Infill Beams along with the plywood to be removed for re-use on upper levels in 3 to 4 days of concrete pour. Before, during and after the early striking the top plate of teh drop Head maintains contact with the concrete which can be left in position till the concrete is cured.

Used when support on the base slab is not possible specially when drop beams around the permeter of the buildings needs to be supported and the earth around the building is not levelled / compacted and in most caes from the first floor onwards to eeither support the drop beans or as access for the working personnel. Three hollow tubes at the edge allows slight adjustments from 1.2m to 1.3m and they come in 2 sizes - 1.0m & 1.5m.

Features
The main decking member is light weight due to the use of high grade steel. Heavy duty pressings at the side ends help it with-stand rigors of daily site use. Slots at the ends take on the tongue of the drop Head.

• The allowable loads are only vaild if the access scaffold is adequately braced to prevent gorizontal movement.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON SLAB

Bay sizes - inversely proportional to the slab / beam thickness are showed in the following tabular form.
 
Assembly of Cuplock Decking on the support system
 
 
Features
 
• Space out Base Jacks, Plane bases or Socket base / Spigot Jack assembly as per layout on the shop drawing provided.

• Fix a Standard on the Base Jack and two Ledgers at the Lowest joint of the standard at the right angles to each other as per sizes specified in the drawing. Do not tighten.

• Attach another Standard adjacent to the first Standard and fix the Ledger to the joint. Repeat this with a third Standard and complete a right angled corner.

• Add another standard and two Ledgers and complete a square / rectangle formation.

• Add another layer of Ledger on top of the previous one at intervals as shown on the provided shop drawing. Fix Spigot Jacks on the top of the Standards to take on the Drop Head and fix diagonal bracings as per the shop drawings.

• Now add the Decking and infill Beams to complete the decking layout. Hammer tighten all the joint castings.
